As many of you know, I currently work at The Master's College as an admissions counselor.  My main job is to recruit and aid students through the admissions process.  My territories this year are: local California (Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley County), Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan and HAWAII.  Last year had a two week recruiting trip to Texas where I mainly worked in the Dallas and Fort Worth area and did a weekend in Houston.  This upcoming travel season (September-November) I will be traveling to Texas, Chicago, Arizona and San Diego.  Anyone have good church contacts in any of these areas?  Send them my way!

Last week, Thursday through Friday we had our staff retreat down in Newport.  Friday morning we had a nice kayak excursion in Newport harbor.

I ordered a club sandwich at the Cheesecake Factory in the Sherman Oaks Galleria on the way down to Newport.  Yes, one of those sandwich quarters are almost as big as my face!

Fine dining for dinner at Joe's Crab Shack.  Most of us ordered crab.  As some of you might remember, I don't particularly care for seafood although I do appreciate a good plate of fish and chips now and then.  Megan ordered popcorn shrimp as was kind enough to share with me.  It was delish!! Fun place especially for kids.  They had a balloon artist who made some pretty amazing creations!
