Yes, I'm still alive!  My travel season ended well.  This year I met two really sweet counselors from Cal Baptist and Trinity International.  In Texas, Kimberly (CBU) and I found out that we had the same travel schedule so we stayed in the same hotels for the Chicago trip and were together in Arizona and San Diego.  In Chicago, I met Ruthina (Trinity) and we took the Metra downtown for lunch on our last day before she headed off for a church retreat.  It was my first experience with Chicago pizza which was yummy.  Before the last college fair, Kimberly and I were able to hit in infamous Gurnee Mills outlet center which was right across the street from our hotel.  Arizona was interesting.  It really is a desert with cactus and dirt.

Things at work have settled down but things at GCC are picking up.  Lots of Christmas parties.  Also, it’s official….I’ll be going to Myanmar in February with GCC to teach ESL and support the local missions there.  Stay tuned…more on that to come!

Ruthina and I grabbed Starbucks after lunch before we headed back to the bus.
